Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Support your child’s emerging strengths, skills, and confidence.

Individual Therapy Sessions

Children experience enhanced development through a personalized approach that integrates meaningful activities aligned with their specific interests, undiscovered strengths, and talents. The occupational therapists at kidSHINE excel in tailoring support to each child’s unique learning style, empowering them to reach motor milestones and attain functional independence.
Children who require direct occupational therapy treatment may or may not have a specific diagnosis, but do have specific areas of need that are impacting overall progress and require refined skill development

Through thorough OT evaluations, kidSHINE identifies both strengths and areas for growth that impact a child’s engagement in daily activities such as self-care, school, and play/leisure activities. Our comprehensive evaluations enable our clinicians to formulate a holistic picture of your child’s current skill level and identify any hurdles or barriers impacting success. The evaluating clinician will use this information to create individualized goals and a care plan for your child, so treatment can be tailored to the specific needs of your child and your family.

In our weekly treatment sessions, we employ a sensory-informed and individualized approach, incorporating play and social experiences with an exercise-based element. Our team members specialize in various areas, including sensory-informed interventions, trauma-informed care, feeding interventions, fine and gross motor skill enhancement, retained reflexes, early intervention, torticollis, executive functioning, and more.
