This therapeutic, evidence-based program is the original EXERSHINEkids POWER Bootcamp Program, designed to promote core strength, motor planning and balance, while also targeting sensory processing and self-regulation skills in a supportive group setting. Strong Kids 2 targets building motor skills with accuracy, teaching strategies for focus and facilitating social skills organically in a therapeutic setting. The slower pace, additional support and smaller class size with higher adult- child ratios allows for more individual attention to focus on motor skill, social skill development and focus. Peer are encouraged to work together as a team to complete group physical challenges and obstacle courses, and of course have fun! We encourage children to find their inner strength and be proud of their accomplishments!

*Please note, if your child requires 1:1 therapist support for successful participation in a therapeutic setting with peers, please email Amy@kidshine-ot.com.
*This class is held mostly indoors in our 1600 sq. ft. bootcamp room.
*We will be offering makeup classes over the course of April Break (4/21 - 4/25)

I agree to the Terms of Service: I hereby give my permission for my child to participate in an EXERSHINEkids POWER Bootcamp Program, therapeutic group or summer program at kidSHINE (28 Forest Ridge Drive Rowley, MA 01969 and/or 14 Cedar St. Amesbury, MA 01913). I waive and release all rights for any claims against kidSHINE LLC for any damages and/or injuries that may occur to my child while participating in kidSHINE programming or EXERSHINEkids Bootcamps at kidSHINE. I certify that my child is in good physical health to participate in kidSHINE programs or bootcamp classes, and I am also aware that my participation (as a parent/ caregiver) in helping my child complete at home challenges and exercises is important for skill carryover.
I agree to the Refund Policy: All bootcamp classes and programs must be paid in full prior to the start of the program. If you cancel registration more than one week before the session starts, we will refund the full amount minus a $50 deposit. If you cancel registration within one week of the session start date, we will refund 50% of the program fee, minus the $50 non refundable deposit. Once the session has started, refunds are not available. However, we can offer a prorated credit for the remainder of the classes not attended.
I agree to the Make Up Policy: I understand that this is an 8-week session and if there is a school vacation week that falls during the session, the make-up week will be scheduled during the corresponding school vacation week. If there is no school vacation week (Sept- Oct session) your child may come to a different class to do a make-up class with advanced scheduling. If your child misses a class and you want to do the make-up week, please email billing@kidshine–ot.com or call the office to schedule.

OT, MS, OTR

Emily is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist who received her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2022, from American International College in Springfield, MA. She gained clinical experience working with children with ADD, ADHD, SPD, ASD, and a variety of other diagnoses. She has her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and considers fitness a passion. Emily is enthusiastic about incorporating the use of therapeutic exercise and movement in her treatment sessions to help bring confidence and success to children and their families.

In her free time, Emily enjoys exercising, playing with her dog, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
